Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup pimiento cheese
  • 4 tablespoons barbecue sauce
  • 8 jalapeno peppers, seeded and halved lengthwise
  • 16 bacon strips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, pimiento cheese and 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce. Mix until well combined. Spoon or pipe into jalapeno halves.
  2. Wrap each jalapeno half with a slice of bacon. Drizzle with remaining 2 tablespoons barbeque sauce. Place on a baking sheet, cut-side up. Bake until cheese is bubbly and bacon is golden brown, 20-25 minutes.
  3. If desired, preheat broiler. Cook 3-4 inches from broiler until bacon is extra crisp, 1-2 minutes.
