Skillet Cabbage

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 ounces cream cheese, cubed and softened
Directions
- Melt butter in a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet. Add cabbage and green pepper; toss to coat. Stir in water, salt and pepper. Cover; simmer until cabbage is tender, 8-10 minutes. Add cream cheese; stir until melted.
