Can you freeze No-Guilt Beefy Nachos?

Freeze cooled meat mixture in freezer containers. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Heat through in a saucepan, stirring occasionally. Add water if necessary. Serve with chips and toppings if desired.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef (90% lean)
  • 1 can (15 ounces) Ranch Style beans (pinto beans in seasoned tomato sauce), undrained
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • Baked tortilla chips
  • Optional: Shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole

Directions

  1. Combine first 8 ingredients in a 4-qt. slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low until meat is no longer pink, 4-6 hours. Stir in vinegar and salt, breaking meat into crumbles. Serve with tortilla chips and, if desired, toppings.
