Ingredients
- Ice cubes
- 2 ounces whiskey, bourbon or rye
- 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
- 2 to 3 dashes bitters, optional
- Maraschino cherries
Directions
- Fill a pint glass three-fourths full with ice. Add the whiskey, vermouth and, if desired, bitters; stir until well chilled, 20-30 seconds. Strain into a coupe or cocktail glass or an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with cherries.
