Creamed Salmon On Toast

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
- 2 cups 2% milk
- 1 can (14-3/4 ounces) salmon, drained, skin and bones removed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 6 slices bread, toasted
Directions
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth; add onions. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for until thickened, about 2 minutes. Reduce heat. Stir in salmon, salt and pepper. Cook until heated through, 10-12 minutes. Serve over toast.
