In case you missed it, the coveted John Derian Target Thanksgiving collection launched in the wee hours of the morning on Sunday, October 13—and it’s already selling out.
New York-based artist John Derian is known for his 19th century-inspired home items. And the new Target collaboration includes whimsical pillows, linens, serveware and decor. While some pieces are unavailable for online shipping, you can still hit purchase now and pick up in-store.
I’ve already shopped this collection—both online and in-store—and can confirm it’s worth the hype. The details, quality and design are top notch, especially at Target’s low prices. Here are my recommendations for outfitting your holiday home.
Four silly birds holding bottles and glasses in their beaks? This cocktail glass set was an immediate “add to cart” for me. The crew of feathered friends are ideal for juice, spirits or anything else you’d serve on the rocks. Keep in mind these glasses are not compatible with hot beverages and are hand-wash only.

I was lucky enough to snag one of these beauties at my local store, and the craftsmanship is impeccable. Intricate beads, sequins and a mix of fabrics make this mesmerizing pillow a must, especially for just $40.
Mushrooms are having a moment! And this 5-piece decorative set is ideal for adding a touch of woodland whimsy to a bookcase or mantel. Each piece is a different color, with details varying from a teeny ladybug to white polka dot caps.
