Tom Holland is my personal favorite Spider-Man, although as a millennial I’ll always have a soft spot for Tobey Maguire. When Tom Holland isn’t on set, he’s probably busy working behind the scenes on his nonalcoholic beer brand, BERO.

It’s a lot to juggle for anyone, and I hope that the flexibility he developed in his childhood dance and gymnastics classes has helped him stay mentally balanced as well. And he definitely takes the most important meal of the day seriously.

What does Tom Holland eat for breakfast every day?

Tom Holland starts his day with porridge, which is the British way of saying oatmeal. “For breakfast, I will have a bowl of porridge with a bunch of fruit and nuts,” he told Men’s Health. “The berries give me a bunch of fiber, the nuts give me the fats that I need, and that really sets me up for the day.”

Apparently his love of the quick meal doesn’t just come from its health benefits. “I like to get up early and get the day started,” he says. “If I have to cook something I feel like it really slows down the day.” I have to say that I agree completely with Tom, which is why I almost always have a big batch of breakfast burritos in the freezer. Nutrition is a big deal to him, especially since traveling for his work makes it hard to stick to a routine.

In that interview, he mentions one key person who helps him stay on top of healthy eating: his girlfriend, Zendaya. “I always try to have a healthy amount of vegetables, and by healthy I mean a lot,” he says. “My girlfriend is a vegetarian, which is really helpful because it means, more often than not, I’ll be having a veggie meal.” I guess the couple that cooks vegetables together, stays together!
