I have always appreciated that Starbucks listens to and understands its customers. Like how we want cold foam on literally everything and that free refills are nice. Recently, we were given the opportunity to taste test the latest Strato Frappuccino line. These layered drinks combine the heft of a Frappuccino with the cloud-like topping of sweet cold foam. And, now, Starbucks is about to drop another specialty layered drink for us. PSA: It’s only available for one week, so there’s no time to waste!
What is the new Starbucks Frappuccino?
It’s called the Firework Frappuccino, and it’s possibly the most beautiful thing Starbucks has ever gifted us. This new Frappuccino combines some of Starbucks’ most delicious summery flavors into one firecracker of a beverage. It features the Summer-Berry Refresher blended with creamy coconut milk and poured over bright raspberry-flavored pearls. Then, as a final touch, a fluffy combo of strawberry puree and vanilla sweet cream cold foam floats on top.
If you’re a fan of the Iced Cherry Chai, or basically anything with sweet cream cold foam (like the Teddy Grahams Shaken Espresso), you’re bound to love this drink. I’m already a huge fan of the matcha latte with strawberry sweet cream cold foam, so I know I’ll be giving this a sip as soon as it hits the menu. My taste buds can’t wait any longer.
What week can I get the Firework Frappuccino?
The Firework Frappuccino will only be available from July 1 through July 7 while supplies last. We’re used to drinks being limited-edition, but this is ultra-limited-edition. And if you find you love the Firework Frap and miss it when it inevitably leaves the lineup, don’t worry. The Starbucks summer menu will be stickin’ around for a bit longer.
